ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Paula, proud founder
of Paula's Bluebird Tutoring.

My 25 Years of Experience
With 25 years experience as a full time primary school teacher, I have taught a wide range of year groups from Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

My qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from Newman College, then part of Birmingham University. I graduated in 1999 with First-Class Honours.

My Aims
Throughout my teaching journey, I've discovered that children learn best when they feel confident and curious. When they believe in themselves, their ability to learn flourishes. By tapping into their interests, they become naturally more engaged and open to learning.
My goal is to nurture confidence and inspire curiosity- because when children have someone who truly believes in them, they can achieve incredible things. That's where I can help your child achieve their personal best.
SEND
I have extensive experience working with children of all abilities including those who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Over the years, I've seen first hand how challenging a mainstream classroom environment can be for some students. I have taught and supported children with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. My approach is always tailored to each child's unique strengths and challenges, ensuring they feel understood, supported, and empowered to succeed.
